School Uniform:

Uniform is worn at Godley to develop a sense of pride in being a member of the school community and we expect parents to support this by ensuring all pupils follow the dress code.

The school colours are purple, white and grey.

Winter Uniform:

Summer Uniform:

Grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers. 

Purple and white summer dress.

White polo shirt or white shirt. 

Grey short trousers and white polo shirt or white shirt

School purple sweatshirt/jumper or cardigan with logo

White or grey socks. Black school shoes. No trainers.

Black school shoes. White, black or grey socks or grey tights. No trainers.

 

P.E Uniform:

White T-shirt and black P.E shorts

Plain grey or black joggers/tracksuit

Trainers

 

  • Please note also all children will need a P.E. bag. A school reading bag will be donated to children in Reception class. These are available from school.
  • No jewellery must be worn in school. If your child has pierced ears, small studs are permitted. However these MUST be removed by the child for P.E. Including swimming.
  • Long hair should be tied up for school for Health and Safety reasons and to reduce any risk of possible spread of headlice. Hair bands, ribbons and bows should be in school colours.  Make up and nail varnish (including acrylic or gel nails) should not be worn to school.
  • Extreme hairstyles are not appropriate for school. The use of styling products should be kept to a minimum and children should not have decorative patterns cut or shaved into their hair.
  • No valuables/toys/electronic games should be brought into school.
  • If children need to carry a mobile phone when walking to/from school they must be handed into the school office for the duration of the day. An authorisation permission form needs to be completed by parents.
  • Clothes should be clearly marked with children’s names.
