Welcome to Nursery!
Mrs Linder, Mrs Kennedy and Miss Donogher teach in the Nursery class
We have settled into our new Nursery class and we have only just finished our first half term!
We are always busy learning in the Nursery. We are learning how to make friends, learn together and follow new routines in our class.
We love to learning how to count, recognise numbers, read, listen to stories and write. We are developing our imaginative play in our house role play and in the small world area.
We have also been developing our fine motor skills through play dough, dough disco, improving our pencil grip and write dance.
We have been learning about our birthday's and enjoying the story of Maisy's Birthday. We know how old we are and we can count the candles on birthday cakes. We have been wrapping presents, ordering presents, writing gift tags and cards too. We have been painting birthday pictures and using the interactive whiteboard to decorate birthday cakes.
We have been learning to follow instructions and move in different ways in PE. We have enjoyed making up dances to music.
We have been finding out about our families, thinking about how we are the same and different. We really loved joining in with the story of So Much. We wrote about the story and drew our favourite characters.
