Godley went green as pupils from Nursery to Year 6 took part in the school’s Eco Day.

Following the morning assembly pupils returned to their classrooms, to look at a number of topics in closer detail, including the effects plastic pollution is having on the environment, both locally and globally and in particular how poor waste disposal affects wildlife and the food we eat.

Pupils made posters and learnt about the importance of saving energy before nominations were taken for the Eco leaders.

The school is proud of the work we do in educating our pupils about the environment and was recognised by Eco Schools for continued excellence in improving environmental performance and learning.
